How to create a dedicated Interactive Brokers username to use with Maika?

It is recommended that you make available a dedicated user for Maika in Interactive Brokers. This can done by logging into Interactive Brokers and visiting Users and Access Rights.
An Interactive Brokers account user can only be logged in at one place at any time. We therefore recommend that you create a secondary user for your account that is dedicated for use by Maika.
This ensures that you can log into the IB Portal using your main user while Maika can monitor your trades using its dedicated user.
To start creating a secondary user, please login to the IB Portal using the account that you would like to use for your Moneza trades.
Then open your Settings and click on Users & Access within the Account Settings section.
In the next screen please click on the + icon in the Users table to start adding a new user to your account.
Enter all the required information about your new user. Pick your desired username and password and click Continue.
The username and password that you enter over in the IB Portal are the same that you will have to enter right here after you click Continue.
Configure your User Settings Access with the options indicated in the image above.
Maika requires access to your Market Data subscriptions to determine when it's time for you to take a trade.
Please disable all the Funding Access options for your new user.
Maika does not need these to manage your Moneza trades. And we will never try to access your bank information or initiate any fund transfers.
Configure the Account Settings Access options as seen in the image above.
Most importantly Maika requires the permission to trade in your account.
Finish your user configuration by enabling TWS in the Trading Access screen.
Maika will run your own private instance of IB's trading platform in the Moneza Cloud.
This instance is used to manage all of your approved trading signals.
